When is RFID being implemented?

The tagging process started at the end of August with SMRLA’s collection. The tagging team will visit all Calvert Library and St. Mary’s County Library branches to tag materials. Once all items are tagged in a branch, the new equipment will be installed. Charles County Public Library implemented RFID beginning in 2012; the system will get additional RFID readers as part of this project.
