Foundation Center Funding Information Network
Calvert Library is a Funding Information Network partner of the Foundation Center in New York City, the nation’s leading authority on philanthropy. As a Funding Information Network location, the library has a current print collection of materials on grantmakers and guides to proposal writing, as well as free in-house access to three Foundation Center databases.
• Foundation Directory Online Professional – online database with information on more than 92,000 foundations, corporate donors and grantmaking public charities, and more than a million recent grants. Accessible only at Calvert Library Prince Frederick.
• Grants to Individuals Online – search more than 6,500 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers and other individual grantseekers. Accessible only at Calvert Library Prince Frederick.
• Philanthropy In/Sight – an interactive mapping tool designed for grantmakers, advisors, policymakers, researchers, academics—virtually anyone interested in the impact of philanthropy around the world today. Even grantseekers can use Philanthropy In/Sight to gather intelligence to craft compelling grant proposals. Accessible only at Calvert Library Prince Frederick.
