Age: 13+
Schedule: 2 hours weekly
Overview: Our Branch Volunteers keep materials in order and shelves neat. Provide support to Librarians as needed in a variety of ways. Overall, make the library a beautiful and welcoming place.
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintain shelf order, accessibility and appearance
- Pull materials to the front of the shelf
- Shift materials if necessary
- Dust and clean shelves
- Dust computers and clean keyboards
- Prepare craft materials for Youth Activities
- Assist with program set-up and take-down, distribute tickets
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to push, bend, stretch and lift
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently
- Cut with scissors accurately
- Ability to arrange items in alphabetical and numerical order
