Makerspace Volunteer
Branch: Twin Beaches Branch
Age: 18+
Schedule: 2 hours weekly
Overview: Our Makerspace Volunteers welcome visitors and share their passion and excitement for the machines available to the public.
Responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming customers into the Makerspace
- Introducing customers to the Makerspace equipment
- Explaining the certification process and answering general questions about the Makerspace
- Troubleshooting Makerspace projects with customers and staff
- Demonstrating the use of the equipment
- Working on special Makerspace projects or programs at the request of staff
- Introducing customers to the Makerspace equipment
Preferred Skills:
- Eagerness to learn
- Comfort with technology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently

- Customer Service Video Training
- Makerspace Volunteer Training
- Customer Service Video Training
- Makerspace Certifications
