Computer Services Technician

The person hired for this position will work for the Calvert Library Board of Library Trustees. The person hired for this position will be based in Prince Frederick but will work at all the libraries in the county from time to time.
This position ensures the successful operation and functionality of computers, peripherals and networks for the Calvert Library. Please see the job description and expectations for additional information.
Full time, 35 hours per week, subject to call in.
The schedule is:
- Monday 9 – 5
- Tuesday 9 – 5
- Wednesday 9 – 5
- Thursday 9 – 5
- Friday 9 – 5
- Occasional Weekend Hours
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A+ or MCDST certification desirable
- 1-year experience troubleshooting and repairing computers, working with operating systems, software and hardware.
- Interest in libraries.
Attendance at training and staff meetings is required. Staff meetings are held monthly on Friday mornings.
The rate of pay is $20.58 per hour.
There is a 6 month probationary period upon hire.
